Tucked away on a quiet tree lined street in the stylish Cape Town suburb of Oranjezicht is the charming and luxurios Rutalnd Lodge. this magnificent Herbert Baker house with its Cape Dutch architecture is framed against Table Mountain. The house was built in 1904 and was recently sympathetically restored and converted into a boutique guest house by the Higginson family. The renovations have retained the character of the era while ensuring that our guests luxuriate in the 5 star modern comforts with total privacy and personal service. The tastefully appointed guest rooms are havens of reserved relaxation, giving guests a place to retire after a long day of work, sightseeing or travel. From Cape Town International Airport take N2 City/Cape Town. When you approach the mountain take M3 (N2) City. When you start going downhill into the city take M3 De Waal Drive Cape Town. Take left off ramp into M3 Mill Street (Cable Way). At 2nd set of traffic lights turn left into Upper Orange Street. After Belmont St, turn right into Montrose Avenue. Rutland Lodge is on the 2nd corner on the left - corner of Montrose & Forrest Road.
